The staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor was beautiful. We loved the buffet breakfast - the best breakfast that we've ever had! We also loved the tea and coffee in the lounge with cake in the afternoon. The cocktail bar was an added bonus! Hotel Beethoven is definitely one of the nicest hotels that we've ever stayed in.

Stayed at Hotel Beethoven in October - my second time staying in this delightful hotel and hopefully not the last. Very conveniently located - close to museums, music venues, and restaurants, but tucked sufficiently back from main roads to ensure nighttime quiet. The rooms are cleverly and attractively furnished, with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Staff are always cordial and happy to help guests with recommendations, directions, etc. An excellent and cost-effective choice when staying in Vienna. I will be back!

This charming hotel was perfect for our 6 night stay in Vienna. The artistic-themed rooms were unique and lovely. The location is central enough that we could walk to just about every museum and site we wanted to see, with a few exceptions. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. We ate the hotel breakfast one morning and found it to be abundant and delicious. I highly recommend Hotel Beethoven and we will stay there again on our next visit to Vienna.

Hotel Beethoven is unlike any place I've ever stayed. It exists to celebrate the city and culture of Vienna while showcasing music, art, and history. Each floor has a dedicated theme related to the history of the city, and each room is dedicated to a person or aspect of that theme. Each room is thoughtfully curated and individualized based on that particular aspect, including choices related to furniture, art, etc. The staff is amazing. They are excellent and wonderful at what they do, from the breakfast staff to the front desk to the bartenders. They offer chamber music concerts along the mezzanine. The cocktail bar is incredible. The location is right down the street from the Secession. Think about it: Klimt's Beethoven friezes are down the road from you. And the nashmarket is across the street. I'd live there if I could.

Lovely stay. Staff was excellent, front desk in particular. 2nd stay at hotel and like the renovation. Room 603 finishes were better than 506…needed to move because door lock broke

I stayed at the heart of Vienna, within a walking distant to Musikverein and other places that constitute the hear of Viennese historic culture. The hotel is really close to the subway station, too. The hotel itself is a hidden jewel of Vienna. It is in the European old building, which shut out the noise really well, and the interior is renovated with the amenities that show the care of the owner. Above all things, the hotel has its own mini classic concerts with the musicians who played with a real heart! I had truly a wonderful stay at Hotel Beethoven, and you will, too!

This is a wonderfully convenient place to stay in Vienna. It is within walking distance of most of the key cultural attractions and the Naschmarkt, but it is also in a very quiet location. It is also a good value, as Vienna is quite an expensive and glamorous city. The staff are very helpful, and the breakfast is quite good. A good value.

The staff is extraordinary: extremely kind and helpful, way beyond the call of duty. The hotel is not enormous, so it feels like there is always help for whatever issues come up with traveling. The hotel is also very nice, and one feels, for Americans, like one is 'old Europe', while still having modern amenities. It is on a quiet street. Highly recommended.

We had the best stay. It was so close to transportation, shopping and eating. The staff were wonderful during our whole stay. Greeted every morning in the breakfast room and every time we exited or entered the building by the front desk staff. The rooms were kept very clean during our stay. We missed the music evening but did hear it from our room. What a great experience we had for our stay and our first time in Vienna. Thank you for a job very well done!!

Thank you for an absolutely fantastic stay at the Hotel Beethoven, Vienna. The location of the hotel is brilliant. It is within walking distance of many of the main sights. There is a wonderful atmosphere in the hotel, which exudes quality. The room we stayed in was super tasteful and well furnished. The breakfast was really delicious and you could have everything your heart desires. But most of all the staff are really nice and helpful and made us feel welcome the moment we walked in the door and throughout our stay. We will definitely use Hotel Beethoven the next time we visit Vienna and we will look forward to it.

We stayed for one night, however, the stay was delightful. I loved the french press coffee in the room, the late check-out, and the rich breakfast. The furniture needs some care (stains on the ottoman), also having king size bed as connected 2 single beds is not ideal. We'll come back for sure.

Hotel Beethoven definitely exceeded my expectations - since the price was modest, I certainly didn't expect so much - from the complimentary coffee and cake in the afternoon to the Sunday concert. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the Ludwig bar is spectacular!!

Our stay at Hotel Beethoven was perfect! We loved the decor, the beds were comfortable, and the rooms were clean and had everything we needed. American travelers aren’t used to European pillows, so don’t hesitate to ask the staff for an extra one. They are all very friendly and accommodating. I loved grabbing a hot tea at night and relaxing in the salon. Be sure to include breakfast with your room. The breakfast buffet is amazing! It has everything you could possible want and includes made to order items. Best breakfast in town!! Pro tip: book directly with the hotel for a special treat.

A great boutique hotel. Each floor celebrates a different Viennese theme, and all rooms are individually decorated. What fun! If you are there on a Sunday, enjoy the 5pm musical concert on mezzanine floor. The Ludvig Bar (which features in Falstaff Bar Guide) is a great place for a drink.
